Janna Light CVT

Janna started working as a veterinary assistant in 2009, graduated from veterinary technician school and passed the veterinary technician national exam in 2014, and has been working as a veterinary technician since. She has had experience with general practice, including exotics and zoo work, and emergency. She currently works at a small animal practice in the Madison area and owns Light Pet Care, LLC, a small business that offers in-home veterinary technician services and pet sitting. She is passionate about animal behavior, especially educating owners about preventative training that lessens the chance of behavior problems developing — keeping pets in their homes and out of shelters. She is currently working towards her veterinary technician specialty in behavior to further expand her animal care knowledge and business to include training and behavior consultation.
