Michelle D. Krasicki-Aune, MBA, BS, CVT
After becoming an OTJ trained technician, Michelle graduated from North Dakota State University in 2002, with a Bachelor’s of Science in Veterinary Technology. Following graduation, she received her credentials as a Certified Veterinary Technician from the state of Minnesota in 2003, and in 2009 received her Masters of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Veterinary Medicine Management, from Minnesota School of Business. During this time, she worked in a variety of private small animal and mixed animal hospitals, Veterinary teaching hospitals and in specialty and referral hospitals. In addition, during her career, Michelle has served 4 terms on the Executive Board of the Minnesota Association of Veterinary Technicians, worked as an educator including the position of Program Chair for the corporate location of Globe University/Minnesota school of business, and provided technical editing and question creation for upcoming textbooks. Currently Michelle spends her career time volunteering on the Minnesota Practice Act Committee, on various NAVTA committees, and owning and operating Vet Teams (www.vet-teams.com), whereas she provides relief and management services for various companion animal practices as well some specialty and referral practices; all while traveling to different local and national conventions such as AVMA, AAHA, MVMA, CMVA, and ISVMA to speak and mentor others in the field.
